Position Summary:
This recruitment is for Temporary Custodians through UCI’s internal temporary service. UC Irvine’s Temporary Employment Services (TES) is continuously seeking applicants to assist in filling the temporary needs of the UC Irvine Campus in Irvine, CA
DUTIES FOR TEMPORARY CUSTODIAN INCLUDE:
  • Daily floor care
  • Dusting & vacuuming
  • Bathroom cleaning and disinfecting
  • Trash removal
  • Window cleaning
  • Additional tasks as necessary (i.e., furniture moving)
Total Compensation: In addition to the salary range listed below, we offer a wealth of benefits to make working at UCI even more rewarding. Temporary employees may be eligible for partial benefits based on full-time, 100% appointment and is subject to collective bargaining agreements. Compensation Range:
Minimum $18.90 Mid-Point $21.73 Maximum $24.92
 
Required:
  • Previous custodial experience
Preferred:
  • Valid California Driver’s License
  • Experience with floor buffing, floor stripping, and power washing
TEMPORARY EMPLOYMENT:
  • This is a temporary employment recruitment reporting to the UCI Temporary Employment Services (TES) Department.
  • Interviewing and hiring is based on internal hiring needs and how well the candidate’s experience matches the assignment requirements.
  • Certain temporary assignments may require clearance of a health physical or require a valid California Driver’s License for driving university vehicles.
